Introducing Pap Bookcase, a modular shelving made from panels produced from discarded food cartons, including milk cartons and other food packaging that would otherwise be incinerated. The cartons are shredded coarsely, allowing fragments of the original packaging to remain visible, while the plastic layers are melted and act as natural binders. No chemicals are used in the process. The result is a warm, tactile, and expressive material where no two panels are ever the same – each carrying subtle variations in color and pattern while maintaining an overall calm and balanced appearance.
