Elle Mini Lounge Chair (Upholstered w/ Metal Frame)

The new version of the coquettish Elle Mini armchair reinforces the simplicity of its design by dressing its structure in Maharam’s classic Checker textile. With its minimalist structure and clean lines, Elle Mini is now dressed in the vibrant geometry of the textile designed by Alexander Girard in 1965. The textile evokes the aesthetics of folk art, while its impeccable tailoring makes it an interesting choice for the upholstery of Sancal’s small lounge chair.

This iconic fabric joins the short list of finishes in which Elle Mini can be upholstered. Furthermore, this list is also expanded with two new colors for the furry textile together with the natural leather. These can be combined with the metal structure, available in a wide array of lacquer colors. An exclusive piece designed to offer extra seating, in private or public spaces.

Elle Mini forms part of the coquettish family of armchairs and lounge chairs designed by Rafa García. Its reduced and compact structure was inspired by simple beach loungers, known for their functional design and casual aesthetic.

In addition to being lightweight, this version reduces the consumption of raw materials to just two elements (upholstery and metal). Its simple system for removing the cover allows it to be repaired or recycled quickly and easily.
