BARCA, meaning "boat" in Italian, is a beautiful lounge chair that can take on many forms. The shape of the shell can be changed by moving the 28 separate pieces of sliding boards. It was a big challenge: the sliding boards must move smoothly while simultaneously maintaining its structure. The BARCA Lounge Chair won at the International Furniture Design Fair in Asahikawa in 2008 for its originality, and has become one Conde House's iconic products that really show an enthusiasm for design.
