Arne Jacobsen designed many chair models in laminated wood, which in spite of their common features have a character of their own. In 1968, the 3108 chair was introduced. It is also known as the Lily chair or the Series 8™ chair.
It was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1968 for the Danish National Bank. The curvy chair with its characteristic wide shoulders and slim waist is a beautiful example of how Arne Jacobsen constantly kept exploring and challenging the possibilities of veneer.
The Lily Chair features a fully upholstered design in a wide range of fabrics and leathers.
