TON

TON is backed by six generations of craftmanship specializing in wood bending to create pieces that are strong, beautiful and timeless. Each TON product is the work of at least 20 pairs of hands working to bend and shape the wood in preparation for sanding, staining, and assembly. Their products are made from quality natural materials that are responsibly sourced to withstand the test of time.

More than 150 years ago, the first pieces of bentwood furniture were created by craftsmen in what is now eastern Czech Republic, where lush beechwood forests dominate the landscape. Today, TON hand crafts each piece using new techniques in the same workshops to create furniture of impeccable style and quality. TON, which is an acronym for Továrna Ohýbaného Nábytku or bent furniture factory, has earned a reputation across Europe and beyond for quality, innovation and an adherence to tradition.
