Giancarlo Fassina is also an Italian architect and designer; he graduated from Politecnico University in Milan with a degree in Architecture, and is known for his work with light design. Fassina designed many large-scale lighting system for exhibits and buildings across Italy in the 1980s, and has also collaborated with Michele De Lucchi in creating the “Tolomeo” lamp collection.
