Kai Stania is a Viennese designer and architect who was born in Salzburg, Austria in 1965. He studied Architecture at Vienna Technical University and Product Design at Vienna University of Applied Arts. Kai Stania established his studio Kai Stania Product Design and has won numerous awards for his work, such as the Boerse Prize for Design, the IF Product Design Award, the Red Dot Award. Stania is known for his balance of functionality and aesthetics in his designs. He focuses on creating simple products with high-crafted details. His clean and nature inspired style is exemplified in the Mortiz collection for TON.
