Anderssen + Voll’s studio located in Oslo, Norway is a hub for high quality, modern furniture design that captivates the attention of all who observe their functional forms of art. Founded by TorbjØrn Anderssen and Espen Voll, the pair of designers wish to stimulate thought while also insinuating comfort and warmth through their designs. The philosophy of the principles surrounding their designs depends on both adhering with and breaking the traditional molds of furniture design. Anderssen + Voll furniture will inspire thought and reflection, even with just the quickest of glances at one of their pieces (but they are so beautiful that a quick glance will not be enough to take in all of its simplistic splendor. Their commitment to upholding the high quality standards of Scandanavian furniture design is second to none. The two designers have been partners for quite some time, dating back to before the birth of Anderssen + Voll In 2009. Previously, the pair co-founded a different design company called Norway Says. For more than 10 years, Anderssen + Voll have included future-minded innovation and a honorable respect to cultural tradition that continue to inspire their designs today. To say that Anderssen + Voll are one of the greats would not be an understatement; winning several awards including the Wallpaper Award, the Red Dot Award, IF Award and Honorary Award for Best Design in Norway. The contemporary and inventive designs that come out of the Anderssen + Voll studio are show-stopping, jaw-dropping, eye-catching and simply beautiful pieces of art
