The Challenge Chair is a study in the application of technology. The back legs make up the frame for this sublime chair and have been shaped using the precision of both computer-programmed (CNC) 3-D machines and the hand work of master craftspeople and engineers. The result is a meticulously constructed piece of modern furniture. The juxtaposition of smooth curves and sharp edges gives Challenge an elegant sculptural appeal.
