Sitting benches had long fallen out of fashion ? especially in home interiors. However, over the past years they have been experiencing a revival as people rediscover their usefulness for group seating. The Wood Bench, designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, is a robust and elegant bench made of solid wood, whose aesthetic and structural features correspond to their Wood Table. The two pieces make an ideal pairing, but thanks to the bench's archetypal form it can also be attractively combined with other tables or used as a solo object in a wide variety of interior settings. The Wood Bench is 41 cm wide and available in several lengths (200, 220, 240, 260 cm) and different types of wood (natural oak, smoked oak or American walnut). The rounded bottom edges of the seat are also found on the Wood Table.
