The Astrup chair is an everyday icon - a chair, designed to be used and for a life lived. The shape is inspired by the human body - the legs ending in shoulders that carry - in this case symbolizing the human being carried. The chair is both organic and minimalistic all at once. The lines give a dynamic expression and all excess is cut away. There are no visible joints and the materials are FSC certified wood with a possibility of leather.
