Macaroon Pendant Lamp

Clean the lamp with a damp cloth added with mild soap. Dry it afterwards with a clean and dry cloth. To keep the lamp clean inside, please use a dry cloth or dust brush. Be aware that the outer glazed finish can be damaged using strong detergents and alcohol.

In AW17, Lucie Kaas introduced a new design collaboration with Danish Christian Troels. Through the collaboration, a lamp series inspired by the French delicacy “le macaron” was born. In AW18, the collection is extended with a large pendant lamp owing itself to being the centerpiece in the room.

The shape of the lamp series is inspired by “le macaron” giving rooms a simple elegance with a touch of humor. Christian Troels has experimented with the interaction between the light and heavy where the brass ring in the middle of the lamp harmonizes the materials effortlessly into each other. The new pendant lamp is a special character with its deep dark grey color and combinations of materials that stand out in a crowd.

CHRISTIAN TROELS ABOUT THE DESIGN: "I have designed the Macaroon lamp series with the purpose of balancing humor and elegance in one design. I wish to put a smile on people’s face and awake curiosity when they see the lamps."
