Karen Kjældgaard-Larsen

As a young female designer, Karen Kjældgaard-Larsen had a quite innovative and radical approach to how she gained popularity for her work. Inspired by the original and traditional designs of Royal Copenhagen, Karen Kjældgaard-Larsen approached Royal Copenhagen with a newly re-designed idea for the Blue Fluted Service which is still produced today. Dubbing her most famous work as the Blue Fluted Mega collection, Karen Kjældgaard-Larsen’s designs are equally modern and traditional.
