angela adams Rugs
Early in her design career, Angela Adams worked as a decorative painter. She
painted furniture, walls and ceilings with large patterns and bright colors.
Her clients favored her floral motifs, and she traveled around the country
painting custom environments.
As her business grew, she began searching for
an alternative medium for her expanding design repertoire. Rugs were a
natural choice due to the Maine legacy of hand made textiles and floor
