As retro is the spirit of the age, we here at Design Public are after a Huey Lewis revival. Yes, that's right, it's once again "Hip to Be Square" (and it seems if anyone would know the size of the gap between hip and square, it might just be Huey Lewis). Exhibit A: the Rex lamp from Lights Up!, which is properly rectangular (except the small pendant), but don't let the details distract you--it's oh so hip. The remarkably sharp lines and high-quality neutral linen shades would warm Mies's high-modernist heart, but the price and beauty will work in almost any pad.
