Capitalism's great and everything (I'd like to give a special hello to our customers--hello, customers! We love you!), but it's nice for an artist or designer to be able to make what he wants to make, rather than having to make what he's being paid to make. It's particularly gratifying for him to reverse market pressure, to put the burden on his customers to like what he wants to design, rather than having to design what they like to want. Read more.
