Boodalee's founder, Jeanice Skvaril, had an epiphany one morning, in the Summer of 2005, "While putting down my little man for his morning nap -- standing there in his picture-perfect modern nursery, outfitted with vintage tin circus toys, I was struck by a daunting thought: 'What the heck kind of bedding are we going to outfit your big-boy bed with?'"
She had seen the enemy: licensed characters commandeering children's bedrooms, crawling onto their beds, stifling their imaginations. Jeanice wanted alternatives to the mainstream commercial mediocrity offered by big retailers, yet didn't want to subject her son to her own minimalist preferences. She needed designs that fit the style of her house, but appealed to her little 'Boodalee' and his very big imagination. Today, Boodalee is proud to bring big designs for your child's room that embrace a modern style, while taking on youthful subject matter that will resonate with your little dreamers.
