In the lovely (and--surprisingly--only kind of ambivalent) maternity poem "Morning Song," Sylvia Plath describes the dawn, as seen from inside the nursery: "The window square/Whitens and swallows its dull stars." To me, that's exactly what Area's Blocks pattern looks like, a bunch of windows onto some beautiful colored country where the sun is just rising (in the tangerine colorway, it's just somewhat later in the day). And at 200-thread-count, these all-cotton sheets feel like a soft morning breeze.
