  • Is it possible to assemble this but not put on the back panels? I ask because if I use it for stereo equipment, I may want the back open for ventilation and wiring.
  • We do not recommend assembling the MASH Studios LAX Entertainment Shelf without the back panel since it provides a lot of strength to the piece. The Entertainment Shelf is designed for use with electronics. There is a hole in the bottom to feed cords up from the floor and there is a slot that runs across the top of the piece to route wires and exhaust heat.
