  1. Kartell pays homage for the first time to one of the most iconic pieces in its museum with its reedition of the 4801 armchair designed by Joe Colombo, an authentic symbol of design in the '60s, and now much sought-after in auctions of modern historical pieces. Well-known also for being the only piece produced by Kartell made entirely of wood, that same product can be made using today's industrial technology to reproduce the curving sinuous lines of the piece. A numbered series of the seat is available in three line-enhancing colors - transparent, white and black.

  2. Toby Rapson, son of midcentury architect Ralph Rapson, was working to put his father's classic designs back into production when he bumped into Loll founder Greg Benson at an event in Minneapolis. The meeting prompted Rapson to rethink his father's rocking chair as an eco-friendly outdoor rocker made from recycled material. "It became a collaboration between us and Loll to translate the chairs Ralph Rapson drew to a new innovative product," Toby said. The Rapid Rocker was originally designed for manufacturer Knoll in the 1940's. We think Ralph would be happy with this modern version made with both material and manufacturing not available when it was first conceived.

  3. Designed by Eric Pfeiffer with Loll, the Racer Collection is a multi functional line-up that will help burn off excess energy. The complete group includes a Lounge, Rocker, and Side Car Table all styled with convenient handles and a sporty stripe. The Lounge is designed for numerous sitting positions either down low or up top in the bleacher position. The bleacher seat also doubles as a standing height table. The Rocker is wider and lower and sets the driver in a perfect balance of bodily comfort and mental relaxation. The Side Car table ties the collection together and will help make pit stops last as long as necessary. Both the Lounge and Rocker have an open storage trunk in the back for outdoor accessories. Beneath the top shelf on the Lounge is installed a stainless steel bottle opener for quick bottle changes. Helmet and suit not included. Made in Duluth, MN, USA.

  5. In 2000, talented Finnish designer Jukka Setl introduced the newest--and possibly the largest--of Sacco's spawn: the Fatboy. Soon the Fatboy, like an autumn salmon, returned to its home and multiplied, so that Setl's company now offers four models of beanbag furniture and one hammock. What truly sets these pieces apart from other similar products (more than just their size) is their versatility. Whatever your fitness magazines may tell you, we say it's always good to have a Fatboy around the house. Colors may differ from monitor view. Please request for a swatch, if you are unsure of fabric color.

  6. Häringe Castle nestles by Landfjärden Bay. It had stood there for 272 years when Torsten Kreuger purchased it in 1929. Torsten was a man with little understanding of historically listed buildings and a keen interest for new fashions. He quickly installed a fridge in the kitchen, a skittle alley in one of the wings and Sweden’s first outdoor swimming pool in the castle gardens. Over time, the castle became a jet-set haunt where one could see both Josephine Baker and Greta Garbo. Decadent? Perhaps a bit. Fashionable? To some extent. If you were to design a piece of furniture according to the same principles, you could base it on solid traditions with precise, balanced lines. To the classic, original design you might add a decadent playfulness and a very relaxed way of relating to luxury. This was what we did when we developed the range of dining furniture we call Häringe. Greta Garbo would have been the perfect accessory. But it works with any mysterious beauty in dark sunglasses. Cushions sold separately

  8. Johannes Foersom & Peter Hiort-Lorenzen (MDD) designed Savannah in 2008. The lounge group contains 4 modular elements, one lounge chair and two low tables, which can either be used as a coffee table or footstool. The modules can be combined in countless ways, so Savannah can be a corner sofa, a large sofa or just freestanding modules. Regardless of composition, the beautiful curves and good comfort created by careful craftsmanship is pure enjoyment. For the 2010 season, the architects added two separate luxurious daybeds to the range. United as one they create an island for two, spacious and inviting, or use them alone to enjoy the sun or relax in the shade under the floating sunscreen.
