Designed by Eric Pfeiffer with Loll, the Fire Ring is made with 1/8 thick steel and has a solid raised internal floor to contain the ashes. The Fire Ring is designed with three wide feet so it sits stable on even rough surfaces. When in use the vertical cut-outs cast a windmill pattern of orange light on the surrounding area. Two horizontal cut-outs help in moving the Fire Ring to different locations. Add the recycled poly top and the Fire Ring doubles as a cocktail table when not in use and the poly top also helps keep rain and snow out. The steel is unfinished and will develop a nice rusty patina over time. Made in Duluth, MN, USA. Notes on Steel Fire Ring: Outdoor lollygagging sometimes requires a fire. It's highly unlikely someone, even Loll, could make a Fire Ring out of plastic, duh, so we decided to use steel. Is steel green you ask? We asked the same question and here is what we found: Steel, as it turns out, is the most recycled material in America. The recycled content of U.S. steel produced at U.S. mills averages 88% with a recycling rate of 98%. Lastly, this Fire Ring will last a lifetime with zero maintenance. Important! When burning wood, do NOT use Fire Ring directly on combustible surfaces like wood decks. When in use the Fire Ring will heat up and become extremely hot. Use good sense and caution when burning wood in your Fire Ring.

|Materials||Loll Designs products are made from 100% recycled and recyclable High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) which is the same material as the #2 recyclable plastics (i.e. milk jugs, etc) that you take out to curb every week (or at least should be).|
|Features||Durable, all-weather, and maintenance free. Manufactured in Duluth, Minnesota, USA. Assembly required.
Why the long lead time? Loll Designs runs their production schedule with a delay to build up orders to better utilize raw material yield and create better efficiencies in their production facility. From this delay, they can allow orders of similar colors to build up and thus cut more parts at one time to utilize more of the raw material. Virtually all of the waste from their manufacturing process is sent to a local recycling plant.
Loll eco-initiatives: Loll Designs purchases a block of wind energy through a certified wind power program called Windsense, which is offered by the local power utility, Minnesota Power. Participation in 1% for the Planet. Partners with Carbonfund.org to help off-set the carbon emissions generated by shipping their products. Products contribute to LEED certification credits. Loll Designs carries the Green America Seal and is listed in The National Green Pages™. All Loll Designs products are flat-packed and packaged in 100% post-consumer recycled packaging. Loll employees plant a tree for each order we receive in a calendar year.
|Care Notes||Mostly you will find a simple hose-off will do the trick. If there is a little more dirt, a simple wet rag and natural spray cleaner should be sufficient to keep Loll furniture clean. Microfiber towels work great! If there is dirt embedded in the texture, you can do well with a mild soap and water and a stiff but gentle bristled brush. You can power wash your furniture if you like that sort of thing.|
