Immediately after we decided to add modern bedding to the Design Public line up, we panicked. Thread count? Egyptian cotton? Duvet? Coverlet? What does it all mean?

Around here we like to learn by doing, so we bought a mountain of bedding and set out to educate ourselves. We touched the fabrics blindfolded, used a microscope to count threads (okay not really), and tested for fading.
