Sina and his wife were in the hospital welcoming little baby girl Alexa Marie! Sina said he took 29385792875983 photos but I don’t have one to share…yet…

I’ve finally gotten around to posting the photos of our historical outing to Chevy’s for after work drinks. Check out all the pics on Flickr. A momentous event it was indeed. Take special note of the tableside guacamole preparation.

Today Drew sent out an e-mail inviting us all to drinks after work tomorrow. In his e-mail he suggested that we wear our “office casual” attire. I guess we all need a little help in this department because he included guidelines on what to wear:

“Women: blouses, pulled-back hair. Men: ties, pastel shirts, Dockers, no sportcoats. See below for inspiration:”

We’ll see tomorrow how this all pans out…

What a better way to buy your child his/her first piece of real estate than a phat crib…like an OFFI Nest Crib to be exact. The 2008 Triscuit Taste Off has come and gone. I believe we may have polished off all of the remaining Triscuits just yesterday (or are close to it). I must say, the array of toppings was pretty impressive: turkey, goat cheese and cranberries…smoked salmon, cucumber and cream cheese…a cinnamon and cranberry goat cheese log…apricot, gorgonzola, and pecan pralines…smoked salmon, goat cheese, capers, and truffle oil. Yum!

What did Ali learn from this event? Triscuit flavor crystals + white truffle oil = luv.

It has been nearly four months since our DP Bake Off. With a new year brings a new challenge: a Triscuit Taste Off. Next Thursday, January 31st, 2008 at approximately 1:00pm the momentous event will take place. Currently DP staff members are in the early stages: planning, experimenting, testing. As we get closer to Thursday the intensity and anticipation will rise. The big question is: What can you do with a Triscuit?
