One of our customers tipped us off in our feedback forum about the Lotta Jansdotter Calender feature in the November 7th Life and Style section of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Thanks to Lisa for the tip and thanks to Joy Deangdeelert Cho (of www.ohjoy.com) for the write up!

Whoa, nelly…Lucky Jade just added so many new softy and cozy items to the lineup. I have lusted after all that Leslie Pitts has created in her collection for quite some time now…her owl designs have always made my heart melt and I’ve recently moved on (somewhat) to the Tree blankets. Although these are intended for kids/baby I think I might have to spring for one for myself and get a pile to use as gifts. Seriously, these blankets are awesome.

DESU DESIGN pieces are the epitome of elegance and modernism when it comes to serving trays and bowls. I was recently at a party with a massive sweets table (yes, the holidays are upon us!) and realized how different this table would look if it hadn’t been for the amazing collection of serving bowls, trays, jars, etc. While the treats themselves were beautiful (and delicious!), the serving platters really made the collection the eye candy that it was. I can only image what a table full of DESU DESIGN pieces could do to a party…sometimes the platters are more fun than the food, ha!

The decal trend is really quite perfect for kids/babies, case in point: the Boodalee Trees Surface Graphics. They are a modern way to decorate your walls but are also easy to take down once baby grows up. I am smitten by the simplicity of the Boodalee Tree Wall Graphics…white is the way to go!

I’ll make a bet that if I saw a baby wearing the new Lotta Jansdotter Chick Baby Shoes, I just might pay more attention to the shoes than the baby. Ha! I love babies, yes I do. I tend to flirt with any baby I see, but these shoes are beyond normal baby cuteness, these are ADORABLE.

If I were to collection action heros hands down, no doubt about it, the new k studio organic pillows would be it. Her pillows are not just pillows, obviously. They are about as close to true characters as you can get from a hand made piece stuffed with feathers.
If I had to give a wedding present to someone, this would be my gift.

It is perfect timing for Amenity to come out with their new modern table top collection…I just bought a dining table! Yup, I am the proud owner of a dining table. I know, not a big deal, but it actually is pretty significant when you’ve been eating off of a coffee table for 6+ years (aka bending over to eat, aka a high track record of dropping food on the floor). I would prefer to keep my new table simple and clean but I think the Amenity Trail Table Runner may make for the best present to celebrate this major upgrade in life. I get to eat sitting upright! I can’t believe it.

Amenity Nursery’s Wetlands Organic Toddler Bedding uses browns, yellows, ducks, and frogs to compose a complete organic nursery set for your child. The colors and animal characters evoke some of the greatest children’s literature that have inspired both children and adults for decades. A Frog sitting deftly on a log in the Wetlands strikes a resemblance to the languid marsh lifestyle of the Wind in the Willows. The Amenity Wetlands theme of Ducks, geese and grass, remind us of the burrows under which Beatrix Potter and friends would gather in Helen Beatrix Potter’s Classic Tales. Dress your child’s bedroom complete, or select whichever items suit their fancy, as all pieces are now sold individually or as a set. Amenity Nursery covers Woods, Woodlands, and Wetlands, who can tell what type of lands they will cover next!

The planet and parent-friendly celebrities of Parenting magazine fame, Eco Tots, have just produced the fabulous Surfin Twin Bed. Like all Eco Tots furniture, the Surfin Twin Bed is 100% formaldehyde-free, FSC Certified real wood and featuring an eco-friendly, non-toxic, eco-friendly finish. And… It couldn’t be any easier to assemble- having no pesky hardware, no hammering and banging away, rather a simple, yet sophisticated, “lock” assembly, where the slats of wood firmly and safely lock together. The curvy contemporary design even includes a bench at the foot of the bed. Genius! We are exceptionally proud to introduce the Eco Tots Surfin Twin Bed, and recommend you check out the gorgeous finishes in cocoa, fire, leaf or natural at www.designpublic.com. Hooray for the “green” furniture (literally AND figuratively)!

I can understand the appeal towards the “bird trend” when I see DwellStudio’s “Birds Pair II” wall art. The simplicity of the shapes, the color choices, and the birds (of course!) all come together in such a complementary way. Looks reminiscent of an Etsy find but with the flair of DwellStudio. Love ‘em!
