  1. With their simple, clean lines and cubic shapes, the models in the Park Family exemplify the classic modern tradition of upholstered furniture. If they seem familiar in some way, this was one of the designer's intentions: Jasper Morrison's philosophy of 'super normal' design is dedicated to improving upon prototypical objects without demonstratively altering their form. All pieces in the Park Sofa range are equally appealing thanks to their classically modern design and their harmonious proportions. The soft upholstery enables them to offer outstanding comfort.

  6. Without a doubt the Panton Chair is Verner Panton's best known and perhaps most significant design. Its form, which is as unusual as it is striking, and the innovations in production technology which are related to this piece of furniture have made it an icon of chair design in the twentieth century. The Panton Chair is recognised as a classic of modern furniture design: one of the first models belongs to the Museum of Modern Art in New York. True to the original, the Panton Chair Classic is available with a lacquered finish in black, white or red. The chair offers great seating comfort thanks to the cantilever base, together with its shape designed to do justice to the human body and flexible materials. It can be used on its own or in groups, in rooms and even outdoors. The Panton Chair has won various design prizes world-wide and graces the collections of numerous renowned museums. Its expressive shape makes it a true 20th-century design icon.

  7. Born in 1907 in New York City, Alexander Girard was one of the leading figures of postwar American design, along with his close friends and colleagues George Nelson and Charles and Ray Eames. The primary focus of his wide-ranging oeuvre was textile design: as head of the textile division at the Herman Miller Company, Girard created numerous textile patterns and products reflecting his love of festive colours, patterns and textures. He favoured abstract and geometric forms in a variety of different colour constellations, typically featuring a cheerful palette. His upholstery fabrics remain as timely and vital as ever with many of them still being sold today. Having originally studied architecture, Girard made a name for himself over his long career in the fields of furniture, exhibition and interior design as well as in the graphic arts.

  8. The architect and designer Alexander Girard was one of the leading figures in American design during the postwar era. His passion for colours, patterns and textures found expression in the field of textile design, which was a focal part of his oeuvre. In his work, Girard paired motifs from folk art sources with abstract patterns. Many of his figures and patterns exude a cheery playfulness, and thanks to their vivid colours, even his simplest graphic motifs possess a high degree of differentiation. The Graphic Print Pillows are now bringing a number of these designs to life again: abstract graphics and expressive figurative motifs create striking accents. The soft pillows are optimally suited as a decorative accessory for a diverse range of interior styles. In addition to the Graphic Print Pillows, the collection also includes the Maharam Pillows and the Classic Maharam Pillows. The inkjet-printed washable pillow covers are made of 100% cotton.
