  1. The Metal Side Tables belong to the category of furnishings that do not stand at the centre of attention, yet are indispensable for the completion of an interior. As small and rather inconspicuous side tables, they serve a variety of valuable purposes. The thin table tops and the voluminous forms of the plinth-like bases create an appealing contrast.

  2. The Place Sofa is Jasper Morrison's new interpretation of what has become a modern classic: the low-slung lounge sofa with a decidedly horizontal emphasis. Uniting carefully composed proportions, great comfort and a conscious renunciation of decorative details, the Place Sofa exemplifies the characteristics of this sofa type in their purest form. With the Place Sofa, Jasper Morrison has successfully coupled the informal feel of the lounge sofa with precise finishing and expressive clarity, thereby renewing the typology firmly in line with his philosophy of 'super normal' design. Voluminous, slightly rounded cushions invite the sitter to lounge and relax on the Place Sofa. The high-quality interior construction of the sofa ensures long-lasting comfort. Thanks to its modular structure, the shape of the Place Sofa can be individually defined and reconfigured at any time. The fixed elements can be supplemented with an ottoman and loose cushions.

  3. Quite in keeping with Jasper Morrison's philosophy of 'super normal' design, the Plate Tables feature a classic shape and finely balanced proportions. Available in two sizes, the tables derive their charm from the successful interplay of subtle curves and precisely defined edges. The refined base and the thin table top in Carrara marble or powder-coated MDF form a harmonious whole, yet are clearly distinct from each other.

  6. The A-Table is one of the puristic designs that brought Maarten Van Severen to fame and became his trademark. The table is distinguished by its emblematic shape and carefully balanced proportions. The name A-Table refers to the characteristic A-shaped position of the table legs. The first A-Tables were made as early as 1992 in Van Severen’s furniture workshop. The top of the A-Table is surfaced with a layer of easy-care linoleum. In a patented process, the table top is fitted with an edge made from the same material to produce the monolithic appearance sought by Van Severen. The uniform look is further accentuated by the table legs in black powder-coated tubular steel. Linoleum is a traditional product made from natural materials and known for its durability.

  10. Special is generally less useful than normal’: this statement sums up Jasper Morrison's guiding principle for creating designs that are not extraordinary but rather ‘super normal’ and – just like HAL – that show deference to the dictates of daily life. With HAL, he has reinterpreted the multifunctional shell chair and created a versatile family of chairs with a clean contemporary look. The shape of the seat shell provides great freedom of movement in a variety of sitting positions – even sideways or astride the chair. The 15 different chair bases can be combined with a seat shell in polypropylene (HAL), in plywood (HAL Ply) or with a lightly padded shell covered in leather (HAL Leather). In the versions with a polypropylene shell and powder-coated base, HAL is also suitable for use in outdoor settings. As an additional option, a fabric seat cover is available for HAL in a variety of colours.
