  1. Though not an actual word, Oilo's roots are steeped in the Hawaiian words, "lio" (small sprout) and "ho'oilo" (the cool, rainy season). Every autumn, the Hawaiian sun weakens and tropical trade winds usher in magnificent storms that blanket the islands in a cool, cleansing rain. It's not beach weather. It's curl up on the sofa with a good book weather. It's wrap your baby up tight and rock her to sleep in the moonlight weather. Mostly, it's about sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying the serenity of life. That is why Oilo exists. They are about turning your nursery into the most comfortable, clean, and carefree sanctuary in your home. Because a more enjoyable nursery, means a more constant and enduring bond between you and your baby -- or, as Olio like to say, your little sprout.

  4. Designed by Eric Pfeiffer with Loll, the Fire Ring is made with 1/8 thick steel and has a solid raised internal floor to contain the ashes. The Fire Ring is designed with three wide feet so it sits stable on even rough surfaces. When in use the vertical cut-outs cast a windmill pattern of orange light on the surrounding area. Two horizontal cut-outs help in moving the Fire Ring to different locations. Add the recycled poly top and the Fire Ring doubles as a cocktail table when not in use and the poly top also helps keep rain and snow out. The steel is unfinished and will develop a nice rusty patina over time. Made in Duluth, MN, USA. Notes on Steel Fire Ring: Outdoor lollygagging sometimes requires a fire. It's highly unlikely someone, even Loll, could make a Fire Ring out of plastic, duh, so we decided to use steel. Is steel green you ask? We asked the same question and here is what we found: Steel, as it turns out, is the most recycled material in America. The recycled content of U.S. steel produced at U.S. mills averages 88% with a recycling rate of 98%. Lastly, this Fire Ring will last a lifetime with zero maintenance. Important! When burning wood, do NOT use Fire Ring directly on combustible surfaces like wood decks. When in use the Fire Ring will heat up and become extremely hot. Use good sense and caution when burning wood in your Fire Ring.
