Thanks to Eva Solo’s self-watering programme for plants and herbs, there is no need to worry about forgetting to water your plants on a busy day. By means of a very simple system, the plant draws up the water it needs from the pot. Consequently, it’s easy to always have fresh-looking and healthy indoor plants.
Eva Solo is now launching a self-watering lowerpot in two new sizes and in a brand new material, polystone.
Simple but effective solution
Many plants need water every day. However, watering the plants is not always easy to it into our busy lives with everything else there is to do. Often plants are neglected, only to wither and dry out and end up in the bin, which is, of course, a great shame. Eva Solo’s self-watering programme offers a solution to this problem.
The system behind the self-watering pots is both simple and functional. Once the watering system has been established, the plant will look after itself most of the time. The self-watering lowerpots feature a nylon wick in the base of the upper pot which draws water up from a reservoir in the bottom pot. The plant thus gets the necessary nutrients by drawing up the amount of water it needs itself. All you have to do is to remember to look at the pot every now and then and reill the water reservoir as required. And it only takes a moment to see whether the reservoir needs water. This way, plants have optimum growing conditions, which is good for the plants – and for you!
The two new sizes have been specially designed for outdoor use. Of course, it is still possible to use them indoors, and the original sizes – 1 1 cm and 13 cm – are also available in the new material.
