$275.00
2015 marks 100 years since the birth of Tapio Wirkkala. To honour the great designer and the centenary, Wirkkala's mouth-blown bottles will return to iittala's range in the form of a numbered series. iittala Taika Tea Towel

$25.00
Since its birth in 2007, Klaus Haapaniemi's Taika (Magic) dinnerware had fans of fine design enamored yet eager for more. Now, it's excitingly extended to other home décor items, including this kitchen tea towel made from invitingly soft washed linen. The ornate design showcases one of the beloved Taika characters; a whimsical, wide-eyed owl. When the linen is not being used to dry dishes or cover warm pastries, you'll want to display it for all to see. Fold it over the oven handle or hang from the cloth tab; wherever it hangs, you’ll enjoy the touch of magic in the kitchen.

iittala Taika Tin Box

$25.00
Tanssi - meaning ‘dance’ in Finnish - is a new tableware collection illustrated by London-based Finnish artist Klaus Haapaniemi. The Tanssi pattern has been inspired by the visual designs by Klaus Haapaniemi for the Finnish National Opera production of The Cunning Little Vixen, a Czech opera by Leoš Janáček. The sad yet beautiful story exploring the co-existence of animals, humans and the eternal cycle of life, comes alive in Haapaniemi’s rich designs on tableware created by Finnish designer Heikki Orvola.

Tanssi introduces mythology into everyday tableware. It makes a good addition to any current iittala collection, and goes well with basic pieces such as Teema, or the everyday Kartio glasses. In addition to the ceramic pieces, the Tanssi range includes also interior textiles that bring the Tanssi story alive also on home interior.

The round Tanssi tin box can be used as coffee container, storing jar for tea bags, pens, recipies etc.

iittala Toikka Annual Bird 2015 Lakla

$325.00
The annual bird 2015 Lakla (the bean goose) is a product of Professor Oiva Toikka's boundless imagination. Lakla's dark green colouring is a reference to forests, which hold a special importance and mysticism for Toikka. There is also a certain mysticism within Lakla's wings, propelling the bird out of the shadowy forest and into the sunlight. Lakla is another superb example of iittala's glass-colouring expertise and the skill of its glassblowers. The dark green bird glows in the light and is a skilful combination of transparent and opal glass. The delicate lustre pattern on the wings is hand-made and the detailing makes each bird unique. Lakla — and its accompanying egg — will be made in 2015.

iittala Toikka Quendelon

$375.00
Quendelon's captivating color may be the first feature that catches your eye; a transparent yet vivid blue, it is reminiscent of a clear sky. But also take note of the handcrafted detailing that extends from the nape of the neck to the tip of the tail, starting out as sharp feathers but gradually becoming windswept strokes. Pause to admire the long sculpted beak, which has been mouth-blown from opalescent glass. It is this careful craftsmanship by the master blowers at iittala's works combined with the imaginative design of Professor Oiva Toikka that gives the iittala glass birds their unmatched beauty and collectability.

iittala Ultima Thule Champagne Glass 6oz - Set of 2

$60.00
2015 marks the 100th anniversary since Tapio Wirkkala’s birth, and this set of two champagne glasses is the perfect commemoration and celebration of his life and works. In classic literature, Ultima Thule is used to reference the furthest possible place in the world. Designed in 1968, the Ultima Thule Glassware similarly references the icy cold reaches of Scandinavia and the distinct expressive power of glass as a medium. The unique melting texture of these pieces are achieved through specialized molds, the first of which were made by Wirkkala himself. Though a break from the typical clean-lined nature of Nordic design, the extraordinary collection gained popularity after being used on Finnair’s first flights between Helsinki and New York. iittala Ultima Thule is still loved today by modern and traditional enthusiasts for its timeless quality and charm.
