Menu Pepe Marble Mirror

$549.95
Pepe Marble Mirror is solid, durable and meant to last. Year after year after year. The classic design and clean aesthetics, inspired by the style in late 50’s Italy, give the mirror a great iconic value. An object to be used and enjoyed everyday – and some day, maybe even passed on to future generations.

STUDIOPEPE explains, “We like the Italian aesthetic from the late 50’s and up – back then the educated and sophisticated growing middle class had a style that was very well represented by masters such as Caccia Dominioni, Gio Ponti and De Carli and in Michelangelo Antonioni’s movies like ‘La notte’. A style, which used a lot of precious materials such as marble, brass, precious woods and patterns.”

STUDIOPEPE want their designs to be durable enough to last. Like, really last. They elaborate, “We like to use really great materials, which gain beauty over the years – not the opposite. We believe that such beautiful design products have to last almost forever. It’s like Dostoyevsky said: ’Beauty will save the world’.”

Menu Spoonless Container

$44.95
Spoonless is a small series of smart containers that create a warm atmosphere in your kitchen. Simply remove the cork lid from the small spout and pour without using a spoon.

Hauke Murken and Sven Hansen love simple and easy-to-use products. They work with abstractions and reduction while still aiming for a maximum of function, smartness and beauty. The Spoonless series is a great example of how that theory works in real life.

The idea came in the kitchen in their Berlin studio as one of them was adding tea to a tea egg using a spoon. They instantly got the feeling that this was one step too much and felt like putting the spoon away and simply pouring the tea directly. Spoonless was born.

The designers say, ”We wanted to create some containers that feel and look like helping friends, keeping your best rice, providing your favorite morning cereal, or offering tasty brown sugar for the relaxing coffee break.”

Menu Optical Candle Holder

$59.95
Optical Candle Holder is a fine and decorative candle holder from the Oslo-based designers Jonas Ravlo Stokke & Øystein Austad.

The holder consists of various geometrical shapes that balance and almost flow on top of each other. It is a bit of an optical illusion. Inspiration came from the infamous Bauhaus movement, their numerous creative experiments with geometry and the quest for the perfect balance between form and function.

When we asked StokkeAustad what the most important thing to remember as a designer is - the duo (amongst many other clever things) said, "It is important for designers not to rely too heavily on CAD while designing. It’s a truly tremendous tool, and today industrial design would not be possible without it, but it’s important to remember that working in cardboard or foam gives you immediate answers, that are difficult to envision otherwise. Especially regarding size and proportions."

Designer: StokkeAustad (NO)
Dimensions: 5.5"w x 3.5"h

Menu Wire Disc Oil Lamp with Base

$85.00
The inspiration for this charming and decorative series came while Kasper Rønn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen were visiting a Japanese-inspired garden in L.A. The garden had custom made standing and hanging displays with flowers and light and together with the Japanese trees and small fountains it transformed the garden into a beautiful new kind of Art Deco.

The series consists of three elegant bases for cosy oil lamps or beautifully floating flower arrangements. On top of these elegant bases you can put a cosy Oil Disc to light up the terrace, the patio, or all along the driveway – or a charming pot for green plants, fresh herbs, or lovely flowers. Mix and match between heights and contents and create your own tableau displays inside the house, or outside – or maybe even both.

Designer: Norm Architects (DK)

Menu Stick System - 1x2

$399.95
Wooden sticks and joints of steel are the components that transform the versatile Stick System into a shelving system, a clothing rack and a worktable; interior elements of strong constructions that are easily assembled and offer multifunctional solutions for residential use.

The organic construction of Stick System is the creation of Czech designers Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus, who in recent years have earned recognition for their design philosophy.

“We wanted to create a clever and aesthetically beautiful design solution for a modern generation: Stick System can be extended and adapted to fit different spaces. It enables multiple options, which makes it a pragmatic interior solution to today’s increasing needs, comments Jan Plecháč.

Stick system is presented in various color combinations and wooden hues, and with maximum attention to detail, the combined wood and steel structure perfectly harmonizes with the chosen color palate for a clean, soft and light appearance we refer to as Soft Minimalism.

As an add-on to the shelving system, light steel plates work as mobile shelves for placing books, plates, lamps and other objects.

Jan and Henry are equally as grounded as their design, and when asked about the most important aspect to consider as a designer, their answer is unanimous: “Being as responsible as possible to the planet and to the people that inhabit it”.

In a standard configuration, each "cubicle" is 23" x 13.8" x 11.5" (x/y/z, frontal view)
Stained Ash, Powder-coated Steel
