Slate table tops are made from natural slate tiles and must be treated with a sealer before use to make them resistant to dirt, wind and weather. Slate table tops are not frost proof and must therefore be stored indoors during the winter.
HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATE Compact laminate is a very suitable material for outdoor use. The material is resin-impregnated paper, compressed under very high pressure creating a strong top with a scratch-resistant surface. These table tops require basically no maintenance and can remain outdoors all year round. Compact laminate will naturally fade slightly at the edges over time. In order to maintain the deep black color, the edges can be freshened up by rubbing a little linseed oil on them. It is recommended that you cover the table with a furniture cover in the autumn and winter period.
ALUMINUM All our aluminum furniture is powder coated. The powder coating ensures a surface resistant to knocks and scratches. The furniture is well-suited to be left outside all year long and is easy to clean.
TRAVERTINE Travertine is a limestone with small, natural holes, giving it a rustic look. It also has a lovely, natural variation in color, which means that no two travertine tops are even identical. Travertine table tops are not frost proof and must therefore be stored indoors during the winter. The table tops are treated with a sealer, but it is advisable to wipe up any spills immediately. We recommend treating your travertine table top at least once per season with natural stone oil
