Jill Malek is a Brooklyn-based graphic designer dedicated to luscious prints and wallpaper. In 2008, she expanded her love of printed matter to wallpaper design. By enhancing spaces with rich, lush textures, she has applied her experience acquired from graphic design to the art direction of interior spaces. Her collection, Frequencies, is inspired by the synchronized patterns of movement in the natural world around us. Within each pattern, there is a subtle shift in movement and scale that, when repeated, creates depth and fluidity. Vibrant metallics and elegant tone-on-tones are used, all suggesting the fleeting nature of an object traversing the earth.
