Knots started out as sketch that Terrence found himself drawn back to over and again. Refining and perfecting the knots, the pattern played a major role in the works for his exhibition entitled "My Apocalypse Will Be Better Than Yours." According to the artist, "Knots fit with the idea that you might feel like the world is ending but time just continues on regardless. The repetition of the endless loops going in and out of each other was the perfect visual representation of that idea and became the underlying link for all of my drawings in that show."
