In 2001 the New York based designer Sandy Chilewich, together with her architect husband, Joe Sultan, launched their first product for Contract use. Joe developed commercial grade backings for the textiles and they were able to intrododuce Plynyl® wall-to-wall (w2w) woven vinyl flooring and floor tiles. Today the contract division includes backed and un-backed woven vinyl fabrics for use on walls, panels, and upholstery. Made almost exclusively in the U.S., the award-winning Chilewich | Sultan LLC products are sold around the world.
