Five years ago, four industrial designers banded together to form a product development consultancy in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Calling themselves MAKE, their designs would find their way on to the shelves of some of the largest retailers in the US. CAKE, formed by this same team, is the new design entity that serves as a creative outlet for products that find their roots in imagination, form, and nature while retaining the integrity of inspiration.
