What is an Affiliate Program?
Our Affiliate Program allows you to place links to our web site on your web site. We pay you a bounty for each user that travels to Design Public through one of these links and performs the subsequent action of making a qualified purchase.
There are many reasons to join! Partnering with Design Public is FREE, and you'll make money with very little effort. Plus, as our partner you will be providing your users with access to a tremendous selection of quality furniture at great prices!
Does it cost anything to become an Affiliate of Design Public?
No! It's absolutely free to join our Affiliate Program. There is no charge to apply and there is no minimum sales requirement.
Does my site qualify for the Affiliate program?
All sites are welcome, with exception to sites which are involved in or promote illegal activity or content. There are no web site traffic minimums, so whether your site is new or established, you're encouraged to apply. We personally review all applications and notify Affiliates within 24 business hours of their acceptance.
Can I join if my site is not based in the United States?
Yes, but all commissions will be paid in U.S. dollars only.
First, you must read and accept our Affiliate Agreement. Then, you must complete our online application form. After your application is submitted, we will contact you to let you know if you've been accepted as an Affiliate, and we will provide you with information on how to get started.
What are the ways an Affiliate can earn commissions in your program?
An Affiliate can earn commissions through our cost per action campaign. The Design Public program commissions on all qualified product sales that are referred to us via your web site.
How often do Affiliates get paid?
Payments are made to you 30 days after a month's accrual. Meaning if you accrued $100 in January, you will be paid on or about March 1st.
Does Design Public provide marketing banners for my site?
Yes, once you have joined our program, you will have access to a library of quality banners to select from, in a range of styles to suit a wide range of web site designs. We also supply everything needed to add those banners to your web pages.
Does the Design Public program offer reporting tools for Affiliates?
Yes, through Commission Junction, you can access a wealth of information about your progress including number of clicks, number of impressions, total revenue generated and much more!
How frequently are my statistics updated in your reporting tool?
Our Affiliate management system reports your clicks using real-time tracking. However, your sales and commissions are based off of sponsored clicks being generated. All sales and commissions are updated daily, but with a one-day calculation period. Information for any particular day will be available to view in your reporting the following day by 5pm EST.
How will you know that clicks came from my site?
All links from your site to our site contain a unique identifier so that every time a user comes to us via your site, we know to credit you when a qualifying click is made.
Amount earned prior to 30 days ago and received payment from advertiser. This means, if today is March 15, and you generate commissions from January 31 and prior - this is the amount that is due to be paid to you.
Amount in the 30 days prior to the end of last month. This means, that if today is April 15th, and you earned $100 from March 1st to March 30th that is the Amount Pending.
What is Total Commissions Earned to Date?
This is the total commissions you have earned to date.
This is the amount we have paid to you to date.
Payments are made to you 30 days after a month's accrual. Meaning if you accrued $100 in January, you will be paid March 1st or thereabouts.
Reasons you may have not received payment could be: You have not yet met the minimum commissions, it has not been 30 days after the revenues have accrued, you have not earned any commissions, the money is in the mail or your site has been under investigation for fraud.
Can I participate in paid search to promote my site and Design Public products?
Here at Design Public we encourage publishers to drive traffic via paid search. In fact, we’ll even send you a recommended keyword list to get started. All we ask is that you do not bid on, or include, the following trademark terms in your keyword phrases; Design Public, designpublic, designpublic.com and any other variation or misspelling of our brand name. You are also restricted from using www.designpublic.com as a display url in Yahoo, Google and MSN. Let us know if you have any questions concerning this policy.
What sales are not eligible for the affiliate program?
From time to time we open up our online Outlet to move returned stock. Outlet Items are Non-Commissionable. If an order contains both Outlet and Non-Outlet items, only the Non-Outlet items will receive commission
